Anna Brees spent a decade as a journalist at the BBC and ITV, but in 2017, she decided to shift her focus from reporting in the newsroom to empowering others with professional broadcast skills. Rather than accepting a position back at the BBC, she launched her own training business, recognising the transformative potential of mobile journalism.
Since then, Anna has taught thousands of students, ranging from corporate clients like Admiral, CIPR, and the Professional Golf Association to citizen journalists, whistle-blowers, and survivors of child sexual abuse. Her passion now lies in nurturing the next generation of voices, helping to inspire a more democratic and authentic media landscape. Anna envisions a future where news reflects diverse perspectives, allowing audiences to feel seen and heard, transforming frustration into a sense of connection with the stories being told.
Anna also runs four successful media channels with a following of 300,000.
